Okay, so here’s the story: A very adult comedian, one of the writers on “Blazing Saddles”, gets a Saturday Morning show aimed at kids. It was only a few years after he set himself on fire, and after he became one of the highest paid actors ever. He was still a box office success, so… who gave him a kid’s show?

              Here now is the story of how this unlikely show came to Saturday Morning.

              How did this Bicentennial stand up end up on Saturday Morning? 

              Was this inspired by a certain Eddie Murphy sketch on “Saturday Night Live”?
